Freelancers Black List is a public site that allows you the freelancer to quickly see if your upcoming client is or has pissed of a freelancer before. Remember this, that because your client is new to you, they still could have been around the block a time or two.
We are not a blog where people can bitch back and forth about companies or problems, we won’t contact companies that have done freelancers wrong, we won’t even put your story on the site. What we will do is place our devil icon next to a company listing every time we get a negative e-mail from a freelancer.
Be aware that any company can also send in an e-mail about a freelancer as well. Companies can and do check this list to see if local freelancers have been added to this list. It is just as hard for a freelancer to be removed from this list as it is for companies that hire freelancers. Please conduct your business in a proper and civil way.
Our list is simple to understand - 1 icon to 5 is reported more that 5 icons puts you in the worst complaints category. The more complaints you get the further up the list you move.

Please make sure your complaints are legitimate. Once a name is added to the blacklist it is very hard to get it off. You must describe your complaint via an e-mail to our e-mail complaint department. Once the company address has been verified the company will join the ranks of FREELANCERS BLACK LIST!!! If your complaint is determined to be false you can be added to the list permanently.
Your e-mail will be stored privately on our system. Your complaint will not be distributed publicly. If a company wishes to see its complaints we have the right to send the complaint to them. You will remain anonymous whenever possible. Your privacy is important to us, but any company has the right to see the complaints made about them, they also have the right to fix the problem and make the freelancer happy.
Freelancers Black List is not a reporting agency, and is not responsible for the accuracy of any complaints. If your company appears on our lists with our icon then we have received a negative e-mail from the general public and or freelancers. If your company is listed on our site you can request a review of the complaints via e-mail. The name of the person who entered the complaint shall remain anonymous at all costs. You have the right to tell your side to the complaint e-mail. Removal from the list can be difficult, your response will be sent to the company which made the complaint. It is up to that company to remove your name from the listing.
Freelancers Black List is only identifying that we have received an e-mail from the general public and or freelancers. We are not reporting on how any company conducts business, pays invoices, uses artwork, or treats freelancers. This is not a legal interpretation of reporting laws or guidelines. Any company that uses freelancers or hires freelancers can be added to the list.
Freelancers black list is not telling anyone to not conduct business with the people on our list. We a re part of the free market, we are under the laws of free speech, and anyone can do business with whom they choose. Freelancers black list is not reporting any kind of professional misconduct and or improper activities.
Freelancers black list is not responsible to tell you if or when you have been added to the list. You may request the complaint at any time - we may respond to you within 30 days or more from the time of your request.
